I did not prepare properly for this week and it shows! I have not really paid attention to the news. It is Memorial Day Weekend, that should be news enough.

I just want you to know that in life, windows of opportunity open and close. As one window closes, another is opening. We all walk past a few, and some of us climb through the window once in a while. Tie this thought into my theory that we are all here to help each other, and that "climb" can be made easier and rewarding for more than one person.

I hope that we all take the time this weekend to recognize those people who fought for this country, providing us with the greatest opportunities the world has ever seen, and for those who died and have no more opportunities to provide. Thank You my friends. I will take some time this weekend to play, and to reflect. But more importantly, I will take some time this weekend to see how I can help someone else. I hope you will do the same.

This week I decided to "wrap up the week" with comments on news events. I will post this on Friday and comments are welcome. A lot of songwriters get material for their songs through reflection of the worlds ordinary lives. I hope some other aspiring writers and song writers will join me in this quest.

From looking at this weeks events, it appears that hero's are yesteryear's news. We are continually bombarded with pictures of Iraqi prisoner's. I feel bad for them. But where are the hero's? What triumph's have other fellow American's created? I guess the common and the good are old news, and we have to endure what sells... When good is uncommon, uncommon is good, then it will be too late.

And I have just learned how to enable this blog for making comments.
And I have just learned how to enable this blog for making comments.
Well It has been a while! I'm going to have to re-learn all of this blogging k-rapp (ha). Well, I'm into computer music, production and trying to sell songs on the internet. Eventually I will get good at this stuff. If not, well then I will have a blast singing down at Texas Stadium...Yes, they invited me back for another year :)

I have learned to copy this stuff to the clipboard before I try posting my words. It would save some time when something goes wrong!

I am learning Digital Orchestrator, Music Maker 2004, and MixMan Studio Pro. So, if any other computer musicians are out there, drop me a line. Give some tips on this whole new fad about to sweep our country, producing quality music at home. In the meantime, I will pretend I know what I'm talking about!
