Map of Yalta Ukraine. I recommend using a map of Yalta to find good restaurants, rather than the way we did. I do not know where to get a map with the names of the streets on it. Posted by Picasa

I recommend that you stock your refrigerator with food from McDonald's. You will be very busy in your adventures, and nothing is open late at night if you get hungry. It is expensive here, more expensive than in America (and this appears to be the only place that is this way). Posted by Picasa

Gary at night. i am learning that night photo's do not turn out very good, even with a good flash.... Posted by Picasa

It is rare, but sometimes it happens that a girl does not show up. Just call your interpreter and she will arrange another girl for you to see, or she just may come out with you instead. Let me say this now, in case you are curious. When you go to this place, Yalta you may have the intentions I had (finding a wife). Some men come here from all over the world, Turkey is one place that comes to mind, and the men are seeking sex and only sex, not a wife. If that is your intention, then there are certainly plenty of women for this type of adventure. And many of them will be glad to take your money to put food on the table. None of the girls I met were asked or offered this service. Butit would be good to tell your tour guide your true intentions for two reasons; you don't want to waste your time and the second reason is that the girls you are introduced to are considered a good match for you. Yes, the tour guide or interpreter will try to match the girl and the guy hoping for the best chemistry. If you might be interested in prostitution, why not go to Las Vegas or Nevada where it is legal? Just a thought. Okay, here I am with Valya (she is taking the picture). Later I will super impose Valya into this photo. Posted by Picasa

The mountains in Yalta Ukraine. The temperature there at the end of November was about 45 degrees and one day it was almost 60 degrees Fahrenheit Posted by Picasa

I think if I had enough money, I would buy this place. Good view, palm trees, and enough rooms for entertaining guests! Posted by Picasa

There are many shops available in Yalta. A bottle of Vodka, average quality, was about 25 Hrivnyas. That's 5 bucks USA. The Vodka is nasty tasting of any quality, it has strong flavor! Also, their chocolate covered cherries contain vodka (just thought I would throw that in). Posted by Picasa
