The Success

"The key to success is to make everyone around you successful." This phrase should be kept near and dear to our hearts. We are in a society of people from all around the world trying to get to the top of their careers, top of their business, and top of their political ambitions.

It seems to me that it is becoming commonplace to succeed at any cost, no matter what happens to the people around us. It is NOT just an American capitalist phenomenon. It is how the many in this world is behaving.

We can all be successful if we slow down and make the people around us succeed at their own individual personal goals. It is that simple. And yes, there will be those in life who just take and do not give back. Those people will never know the true meaning of success and fulfillment; to help another man, son, wife, daughter, or friend achieve.

The most successful people in life are those who understand this and give their lives, their love, their words. The other people are just obstacles.

Here's the secret: Have fun removing the obstacles as you start to surround yourself with people who will help you succeed. Your greatest joy in this game will be those who you help! (And there is no greater satisfaction than to realize your true power, of helping those who still don't get it).

Well, It's time to get to the music! Finally! My studio is set up properly. The CD's can be printed professionally. My marketing is in place. Now all I have left to do is make good music.

As I run into problems I'll share. And I solved a microphone problem by purchasing the Samson CO1u. It is a USB condenser mic. I'll give that a try. It should help solve my problem in the studio of my voice not mixing well with the music.

Also, I need a vocal booth (isolation booth). And I have come up with this plan (I'll warn you ahead of time.... I am considered by many to be like Lucy (Lucille Ball, only the male version)!

I noticed that my voice sounds pretty good in the semi truck. But in my studio, I sound like crap (K-Rhap) :) ... So, I thought about this and decided how good it might be to use the car I have in the garage! My 1963 VW is set to be my new sound vocal booth. My plan is to record the music in the studio. Burn it to CD. Then, play it on the CD player in the car (using head phones) and singing into my new USB mic connected to the laptop (which has a Soundblaster PC slotted card).

LUCY.... Okay, I can just see it now. I accidentally put the car in gear. I go through the garage door and down the drive into the street. I hit the neighbor's car and come to a stop. The police show up, and I sit there with my headphones on, in my underwear with a mic stand hanging out the window and my laptop blasting my song "Free Beer"! And this would be just a normal day for me folks!

I worked very hard today! It is getting to be very hot in Texas too! I was surprised by two things today. My Dad called for no reason, just to say hi (in the middle of the day). And my girlfriend surprised me too ;)

It was not that kind of surprise! No, ... my girlfriend sent me a postcard with a picture of the castle I will buy someday. "Livadia" is the name of the castle. I don't want to say too much about my dream. But I do want that Palace, or a palace just like it, in Yalta. I will have a lot of singing to do! So help me out and buy one of my CD's as a present! :)

Well, I must get to bed. We all get 24 hours in a day. Peace out, Gary

I do care what the world thinks, but many of my posts, art, and music is not for the world. I know how search engines work, and many times my work is aimed at that. The words below my pictures (my "works of art") are set up to attract word seekers. The pictures have file names to become classified and diverted on the sites such as Google. "It is marketing gone wild". Everything is designed with a purpose. The purpose in mind sometimes transcends the goal. That is usually when we encounter chaos. And chaos is great for this artist! "They don't let normal people into Hollywood". We do not celebrate normal days on the calendar. Normal is never advertised as "different". Normal is good, although. It is what let's us thought provoked writers and philosophers (poets, song writers yada yada) know we are still on the right path, the one less traveled. Just know that we are comfortable with being different. And it does get old explaining everything. Especially since it does not improve the situation (kind of like now). Keep on moving along your path, and I will do the same. Friends, if we should cross paths, let me know how to help you.

So..... I talk to a lot of people, and one question I hear is, "Why would someone tell thier darkest secrets, most secret moments online"? Well, I don't. And I wonder the same thing. I think it's the "Elvis" syndrome. People think they will be as famous as Elvis, and someday everyone will want to know about thier life (as if they did something important, different, or exciting as Elvis).
