The iMod ???

(Dallas, Texas USA)

Imagine you hear a Chris Brown tune on the radio. Imagine you can press a few buttons on your iMod, and Chris is now singing your girlfriend's name, while Timbaland has your back on the drums. You have just purchased “modular components” to a song that fit you and your life. And, while Chris Brown may have made the frame song, the “chassis”, you have parted out a component to Timbaland.

We are moving towards an age where many people, DJ's, Listeners, Producers, Big Labels, and more can get on board and sell there unique part (the Modular), to a song. Imagine you're walking by Wal-Mart. You hear a Kanye West song, and in it he usually raps about “Geico for your money...”. But on demand, Walmart gets a chance to plug their own business.

This “parting out” concept is not a new business idea. The auto industry thrives on after market parts. They make more money on selling you a part for the car than selling you the whole car new!

And that will be the future of music. You will be able to buy parts, and with modern technology, you will interchange them on the Internet, throw in some effects, and you will have a tune especially designed for you.

“I envision that we will be selling parts of a new Madonna song that is exactly 1 to 4 bars in length, while we will simultaneously be selling, to the creative mind, parts (1 to 4 bars), from Diana Ross.”, says Gary Ruff the head of SundayisFunday.com

Ruff continues, “When we are able to get a standard to fit an on line sequencer such as the one at SpliceMusic.com, it will only be a matter of time before this whole industry is blown apart. The business man will still make his cut, but new opportunities will be had for all.”

It is essential that the record companies get on board and start getting this ball rolling. There is money to be made in this new concept. “I think the money will be made for record companies that sell the “parts” of their collections, and perhaps have a few in house artists who dazzle up their sounds.” adds, Ruff.

With an Online Sequencer, PayPal, iPod, and at&t for example, song parts should sell very well and very conveniently.
About getting rich...

I hear from many young people they want to be rich someday. I'll ask them what it is they like to do, so they can do it to become rich.

That is what seems to be missing. And if they fall short of becoming rich, the sad thing is they will have nothing.

I once heard a man say that he never had to work a day in his life because he was doing what he loved to do. And that is the secret. If he gets rich from this adventure, then he is very far ahead. If he falls short and is pennyless, then his adventure allowed him to never have to work a day in his life!

To become a doctor or lawyer just to become "rich" is throwing your life away. To become a Doctor or Lawyer for the love of helping others who need medical or legal help, well then you already have become rich... rich with personal satisfaction and perhaps the one thing money will never buy, hapiness.

Become rich today. Get off the rat roller cage. Discover something you love to do and become an expert at it. With a little luck and knowledge, maybe the money will follow.

As long as you keep chasing money, someone will own you. And don't feel bad. We all have bills to pay. We all have our ups and downs. We all answer to someone. So why not enjoy life and chase a dream?

You want that Hot Corvette right? That is good to have aspirations. You can get that Hot Corvette just the same as if you earned it through surfing, as you can from going to college and becoming an Accountant. There is no right or wrong answer, but there is a right or wrong answer for what is best for YOU.

That's my 2 cents. If I had a chance to do it all over again, I would. I would also get involved in Music and Arts at an early age. The sooner you get involved in doing what you love, and the sooner you take that love seriously, the sooner that love will give back to you.

You have an empty canvas in front of you everyday. No one can tell you which color to put on it. No one really cares much to know about your integral thinking as you you prepare the proper balance of water to paint. They just want to see the final result. After that, they might want to know more or less. If you read this far, I imagine you wanted to know more. You can only know more by doing. Maybe my 2 cent outlay here will result in just one person gaining a wealth of knowledge. For me, that makes me rich.

God Bless You in your adventures, and when you reach the top, reach down (and help another dreamer up).

Peace Out, Gary Ruff The Compusician
Never Give Up

I gave away an inch
Hoping all the while
I gave another inch
I gave a hopeless mile

Perhaps the 'bee' problem is related to genetically modified seeds? It messes up their navigation system, yes? Also note that I am a trucker. I have hit more birds than ever. Usually in the past, it was impossible to hit a bird... very rare. I hit them all of the time now. I wonder if it is related to the bee problem?

If I were President... Gas would be $1.50 per gallon. Russia would be a bear with no teeth and claws. Iran would be tamed and nuetered. Barak would be my ambassador to Iraq. We would have no Mexican truck pilot program. We would increase LEGAL immigration, and build a wall. We would restore the rule of law and the Constitution. Most of all... WE WOULD LISTEN TO YOU! Peace Out Gary Ruff
