The “wasted” Vote...

You hear it all of the time, “If you vote for him or her, you're just wasting your vote.”.

In the 2000 Presidential election, did more than 50 percent of America “waste” their vote? Bush beat Gore in the electoral college, but lost to Gore in popular vote.

And, to make matters worse... this year we have 2 Democratic Candidates, per say. McCain is so far left, that if he wins, the Democrats win. We have a political system that has “one monster with two heads”. If you think Obama is any different than McCain, then they have you fooled. Both candidates march to the same drummer, and it's not “you the people”.

I often hear, “...well, I just don't want Obama to win. So, you HAVE to vote for McCain.” Let's leave the fear to the women and children. The men in this country need to wake up, stand up, and fear not what one man can or cannot do. Make them fear what YOU can do. Use your vote to stand FOR something, not stand AGAINST something.

If Obama wins because you voted for what you stand FOR, say Ron Paul... you can stand proud. There is no political candidate too big for Americans in this country, and everything will turn out fine. Don't worry, be happy.

Lastly, I mentioned Ron Paul. May I mention Bob Barr, Gary Ruff, or even yourself! Yes! You can write in any candidate you want when it comes time to vote. Hillary Clinton? Sure! It's your country, and you have the right to stand for any cause you wish.
