One Man Bands

There are many notable one man bands from the past.  Here is a partial list of musicians who for one song, or one career, have made it big in the music business playing all of the instruments themselves.  And the trend says this list will grow.

Prince
Todd Rundgren
Steve Winwood
Lenny Kravitz
Paul McCartney
Bruno Mars
Henry Lee Summer

And the list continues to grow as home recording studios become much better with technology.

Money in the music business will be made in catering to the needs of the home computer musician, and bring the computer up to the front in LIVE situations.  It's already happening, and some bands even have a live DJ right up there on stage (Linkin Park and Slipknot are two I can think of immediately).

I just wanted to give these solo artists a lift up.  Going it alone has it's ups and downs just like anything else worth having in life.
