Ideal Energy

An ideal energy model is first needed. What is the most ideal form of energy? One that can be stored for a long time, is cheap, is clean, not a danger to transport or use, and is readily available (abundant).

I submit that this ideal energy form be a solid. It should be derived from a cheap source, the Sun or wind. And it should be distributed as “pellets” or “blocks”.

You will hear the arguments about endangering our food supply. This is not a factor. This “food supply” scare is a tactic used by oil companies, and other energy companies. Think for a moment if the price of corn goes really high, then wouldn't it be more profitable for drug dealers to start growing corn than marijuana? You see my point. The oil companies are in with the government (as you already knew), and they are “protecting” their revenue stream.

The biggest problem with energy is not making it, but storing it for long periods of time. Most people could put a windmill in their front yard and get electricity, but the problem is when there is no wind, there is no stored electricity.

Right now I believe that the “magic” solution is to convert the Sun into a solid energy form to store and use at a later date. Right now we convert the Sun into liquid (alcohol) and store it and use it for a later date.

And then we have another argument (the oil companies are so argumentative!). It costs too much to produce. It takes more energy to make than it yields. I don't want to get into this argument too deep, but let me just say that they are leaving something very valuable out of the calculations they model. We are not trying to produce cheaper energy. We already can get it free from the Sun (Solar). We ARE trying to produce a storage solution. If I can produce a way to safely store energy for long periods of time, the costs will go down as time goes on and the most important factor is that we will not need the oil companies. Remember, I get the energy free from the Sun or wind? If I can convert and store it safely, why do I need the energy company? And now you start to see the whole economic and political game.

I would imagine there could be a biological way to safely make free energy also. I am not a Bio Chemist, so don't ask me how.

Our leaders are aware of the future that is before the worlds eyes, free energy. Perhaps now you are aware of why they need to tax carbon? Oil companies will die off as we move into the future, it is called progress. They sure can't let the tax revenue flow die.

Peace Out, The Compusician
