NAR track

What is a NAR track?

A NAR track, or often called a, Nare Track, is the first track in a sequencer that the artist will use to communicate with the listener of that particular song. It is often helpful for people who do remixes to get vital information pertaining to the song.

You cannot hear the Nar track (track 1 in the sequencer) unless you have the stems for the song. And then, the Nar track is muted. Just "un mute" the track and hear the artist speak.

Additional uses for the Nar track are commercials. It would be a great idea for business that supports the artist to throw in their tag line, pitch line, or just a commercial snippet.

The whole idea is that when you buy a song, you buy the song stems, and get more for your money. You may get an exclusive peak into the lives of the band. And get this, when you do a remix, put your own Nar track in there Mr. DJ, to either add on to the already existing Nar track, or to perhaps make another track available, then mute it.

Peace Out, The Compusician
